Happy New Year!

Well, it's 2018 already. I swear these last three months just flew by. Seriously. They rushed by like gale-force winds. It doesn't help that I also have a day job in retail and this time of year gets so incredibly hectic. Some days I didn't even know what day of the week it was. I hope everyone had a great holiday season and I really do hope that this new year will be a great one.

Now, onward to the important stuff!

Lies of Light progress:
I'd hoped to have Lies of Light released already, but unforeseen complications set it's release date back a few months. But never fear! I will be announcing an official release date soon! I'm eager for it's release myself, if even just to see the beautiful cover art by the amazing Kristina Bilota in print (You can follow her beautiful art on her Instagram!).

Lies of Light takes place on just one continent of a whole new world I built from scratch. Unlike The Chronicles of Midgard and The Priestess Trilogy, the Darker Shade of Light series doesn't rely on existing mythologies and as such, can be a bit headache inducing to work on. I built the world, the people, the magic, even the myths and legends all completely from scratch. I do plan to write the occasional blog post about the world and it's people, giving you the reader a more in-depth look. The great part about creating an entire world from scratch is that all future books I write will be set in the same world, just different areas and with a few cameo appearances of previous characters here and there.

Breach of Neutrality progress:

Don't worry! The forth installment of The Chronicles of Midgard has not been forgotten! I plan to get right back into it once Lies of Light has been released and I have more time to focus on it.

Dayton Book Expo:
This is a wee bit off, but I'll be at the Sinclair Community College on April 28th for the Dayton Book Expo. There will be several other authors of all genres (so something for everyone), panel discussions, activities for children in the Kid Zone, and some great giveaways. So save the date, spread the word to anyone you think might be interested, and I hope to see you there! More information here:

Additionally:
I'm looking for readers who'd love to join my ARC (Advanced Release Copy) team. By joining, you'll get your hands on new releases before the release date. All that I ask is that you read it and share your honest review somewhere online, such as Goodreads, twitter, your blog, or anywhere. That's all to it! Interested? Then sign up!
